Mariana had also planned to spend a few days in Rio before flying back to S\u00e3o Paulo. It was really nice to see her again and we had a great time together. Mariana was not a big fan of the Carnival parties and was more into enjoying the day times than going out at night. As far as I was concerned, I wanted to know it all, the beach, the afternoon block parties, the nightlife, everything! So we were mostly seeing each other during the day, having lunch together, enjoying the sun, having sex, and sometimes having diner or a few early evening drinks, before she went to bed and I joined some of the multiple people I had met on my travels and who also happened to be in Rio for the Carnival.<\/p>\n

Rovana was in Rio for Carnival too. And she also wanted to see me. We first met by accident on a boat party but didn\u2019t talk too much nor we texted afterwards. Unlikely as it may seem in a city as large as Rio, we bumped into each other again while I was walking hand in hand with Mariana, which she nodded with a knowing smile.<\/p>\n

A day before Mariana\u2019s departure, I received a text from Mayara saying she had arrived in Rio and would be in the city for a few days. Despite the good times spent with Mariana, I have to admit that Mayara\u2019s intensity and her elusive side was like a magnet I couldn\u2019t fight. I was very eager to see her again and her arrival in Rio just as Mariana was leaving was perfect timing for me.<\/p>\n

But, Mariana finally decided to postpone her return flight to S\u00e3o Paulo so that we could spend a few more days together. Not that I was unhappy with this situation but sure thing is I didn\u2019t sleep much in the following days!<\/p>\n

Mariana and Mayara had opposite rhythms and desires. Contrarily to Mariana, Mayara, who was younger, wanted to make the most of the Carioca nightlife. During the few days that they were in Rio at the same time, I was basically spending the day with Mariana, having diner and going out with my friends, meeting and sleeping with Mayara after we were both done with our parties, and doing it all over again the next day. I cannot complain about this situation that\u2019s for sure. But I was very tired. And the climax was reached on the evening when I realized that Mayara and Mariana were unknowingly having dinner together, sitting at the same table, both invited by different friends (both were from S\u00e3o Paulo<\/em>), and both asking me to meet them there!<\/p>\n

I was traveling the world at the time, moving very often and not staying too long in a country and even less in a city, so neither Mariana nor Mayara were expecting much from our “relationship” (at least I thought, future proved me wrong for at least one of them)<\/em>, and as much as I’d like to think that showing up at this restaurant would have resulted in an unforgettable “m\u00e9nage \u00e0 trois”, truth is I’d probably have received a lot of insults instead, and created an uncomfortable situation for my two “lovers”.<\/p>\n

It was during these same 4 days when both Mayara and Mariana were in Rio that I met Camila. She texted me the next day after she had passed me in the street when I was on my way to the beach, just after Mariana had left the flat. Camila invited me to meet her down her place to eat an A\u00e7ai with her 6 girl friends, which I accepted without hesitation. When she sent her address, I couldn\u2019t believe my eyes. Rua Rita Ledolf, 33. These 7 girls, including Camila whom I was hitting on, were staying in the same building as me. The same building where Mayara and Mariana were visiting me each and every day. The situation was starting to get complicated to manage, but I invited the girls to meet with my buddies, and we agreed on meeting at the bar Jobi later in the evening.<\/p>\n

When I arrived, they were all already there and greeted me with laughter and cheers, without me understanding why. I quickly got it when I saw Rovana. She happened to be a good friend of Camila and it didn’t took them long to realize they both ‘knew’ me, in addition to Rovana having seen me with Mariana already…<\/p>\n

Later, both Mayara and Mariana found out about each other and turned much more upset than what I thought they would be!<\/p>\n

Anyway, I only have good memories, I am very happy to have been part of this Brazilian puzzle, and will never be grateful enough to Brazil for everything this country offered me! \u2665<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
