📄 NOTICE & ACTION – REPORT ILLEGAL CONTENT (DSA COMPLIANCE)

Lucky Bastards is committed to maintaining a safe and lawful environment for its community.
In accordance with the Digital Services Act (EU Regulation 2022/2065), this page explains how to report illegal content hosted on https://luckybastards.co.
You may use this Notice & Action mechanism to report content that you believe to be:
- Illegal under applicable law (e.g., hate speech, defamation, copyright infringement)
- Harmful or dangerous
- Violating the Lucky Bastards Terms & Conditions
1. How to Submit a Notice
To report illegal content, please send a notice to:
Your notice must include the following information (Art. 16 DSA):
- URL of the content in question
- Description of why the content is illegal or harmful
- Legal basis, if known (optional but recommended)
- Your contact information (email required)
- A statement confirming that you submit the notice in good faith and that the information provided is accurate
2. What Happens After a Notice Is Submitted
Once your notice is received:
- Lucky Bastards acknowledges receipt (if technically possible)
- Our moderation team will review your notice diligently and impartially
- If the content violates law or our Terms, we may:
- Remove it
- Restrict access
- Disable the relevant account
- We may also request additional information if needed
3. Statement of Reasons
If action is taken on content you reported, you may request a statement of reasons, explaining:
- What decision was made
- On which basis (law or Terms)
- How the decision was applied
This is required by Art. 17 DSA.
You may also request a statement of reasons if your own content has been removed or restricted.
4. Contesting a Moderation Decision
If your content has been removed or restricted, you may contest the decision at:
Your request must include:
- Your account email
- URL of the impacted content
- Reason why you believe the action was incorrect
We will re-examine the decision.
Please note that repeated abusive or fraudulent notices may result in account suspension.
5. Emergency or Law Enforcement Requests
Authorities may contact us through the dedicated legal channel:
We cooperate with authorities when legally required.
6. Abuse of the Notice System
Submitting fraudulent or bad-faith notices (e.g., to harass users or remove legitimate content) is strictly prohibited and may lead to:
- account suspension
- legal action
- notification to authorities
